  • Directed and executed daily programming on Magic 98.
  • Oversaw promotional/imaging production (creative writing, voicing, production) and managed the station's website and social media efforts. Helped plan show and served as half of the morning drive on-air team on Magic 98.
  • Served as “face” of Magic 98 and The Resistance, representing the stations at numerous local concerts, athletic events, and charitable functions.
  • Planned, hosted, and executed a daily show on The Resistance, including creating original, high-engagement segments such as Punk Rock News and Feed the Resistance.
  • Created and hosted The Active Zone, a short-form program that focuses on active sports, like running, bicycling, and triathlons. Offered tips to those new to active sports, as well as athletes taking the next step toward a marathon, century bike ride, or Ironman triathlon.

  • Managed The Active Zone’s digital presence, including an events calendar, blog, and Facebook page, while representing The Zone at local events.

The River Food Pantry

  • Elevated public awareness, managed fundraising, and served as the official spokesperson/PR representative for the busiest food pantry in Dane County.

  • Planned and executed the fifth annual Harvest Dinner, the organization's largest single-day fundraiser. Result: Event raised more than 30% above any previous dinner.

  • Represented the organization at diverse public events, including radio/TV programs, and business association gatherings.

Program Director/Brand Manager and Announcer

  • Brand Champion for one of the country's top-rated Adult Alternative radio stations, managing all programming, staff, and brand development. 

  • Wrote and implemented programming department budgets

  • Interpreted research data for strategic music programming to ensure brand alignment and audience growth. 

  • Conceived, developed, and launched Project M—a competitive songwriting competition for local musicians. â€‹Result: Highly successful in generating ratings, revenue, significant digital engagement, and substantial free publicity.

  • Created Activate With M, an integrated active sports program (on-air, online, on-site) that served as a new revenue stream through direct sponsorships. Used program to successfully promote events like the Madison Mini Marathon and Trek 100 bicycle ride.

  • Developed The Triple M Green Team, a community volunteer program focused on environmental projects, generating an additional revenue stream through sponsorships and effectively marketing to an environmentally aware audience.

  • Executed a daily midday air shift targeting an upscale, professional audience, including developing and programming The Radio Deli with featured themes, artists, and live performances.

  • Oversaw all aspects of promotional and imaging production (creative writing, voicing, production) and managed the station's website and social media efforts.

  • Produced eight editions of the Triple M “Live From Studio M” CDs featuring local, national, and international artists performing songs in “Studio M.”

  • Community Recognition: Recipient of the Don Hunt Communitarian Award (Habitat for Humanity) and the AIDS Network of Wisconsin President's Award.

  • Active Community Involvement: former Board Member for The River Food Pantry and The Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin. Highly active in the cycling, running, and triathlon communities as an athlete, advocate, and race announcer/event MC.
